Baby Turtles 6 weeks - 6 months

An ideal introduction to baby sensory experiences in water, incorporating the soothing touch of water, baby massage, and gentle learning holds. We call this the Water’s Touch. These lessons will emphasise on a gentle acclimatisation for both you and your baby in the water. Together, we will practice comforting holds and discuss how the water can gently support and nurture your baby. We will ensure that you both feel secure and at ease.

The Baby’s first swimming term features a private lesson tailored for both parents and their newborn babies, providing exclusive access to the entire pool along with an instructor. This session will cover fundamental aspects of baby swimming and allowing for the capture of numerous memorable moments.

Tiny Turtles 6 - 12 months

You will appreciate our baby sensory methodology, which emphasises the intimacy of our embraces, movements, and calm swimming experiences. From an early age, our infants acquire essential water confidence and swimming safety skills, including holding on, executing safety turns, and performing gentle dips and dives, all at their own pace.

Turtles 1 1 - 2 years

Your chid is now prepared for active holds and movements such as figure of eights, back rides, and horsey noodle rides. We also focus on essential principles of water confidence and safety, even at such a young age.

Turtles 2 2 - 3 years

We integrate your child's developing confidence with engaging swim activities and active holds. We utilise songs and repetitive actions to reinforce essential swimming techniques, including streamlining, floating, breathing, kicking, and pulling.

The development of gentle strokes and proper breathing techniques is introduced through engaging methods, such as the song "I Know a Tiny Turtle"

Turtles 3 3 - 4 years

Encourage greater independence and water confidence with limited adult assistance. These lessons demonstrate readiness to progress to more advanced skills, including star floats, rocket glides, treading water, and treasure diving.

Turtles 4 4 - 5 years

Our Turtles 4 swimmers are nearly at the end of their assisted swimming journey and are preparing to swim independently in our Transition Turtles class. Our Turtles 4 swimmers are confidently using all the skills they have learned in their journey - swimming skills, safety skills and water confidence - are needing fewer swim aids, if none at all - and really enjoying their confidence in the water!

Transition Transition Turtles

The final phase of our swim school is designed for confident swimmers who are capable of swimming independently without the presence of an adult in the water. We offer small groups consisting of four children, accompanied by a teacher and an assistant.
